San Sebastian / Barcelona

One of the most amazing beaches I've ever been to,
San Sebastian beach.
We hiked up to the top of a large hill to overlook the beach

Stretching before the run!!!
First of all, we didn't plan on running with the bulls (just watching)... but after we got to Pamplona, Karen and I decided we couldn't leave without doing it.  We had to get in place at 7am, and I was running on maybe 2 hours sleep. We realized we were lined up with about 200 other people in the wrong place about 30 minutes before they release the bulls.  They clear the streets of people and set up a barrier fence along the route and we got trapped outside the place where we needed to be.  We followed a herd of frantic people just like us and somehow ended up where we needed to be. Once we were corralled in, they clean the streets and a group of local celebrities inspect the course.  10 minutes before they release the bulls, they let people scatter throughout the course. Tom, Karen, and I found a place that looked safe enough and waited for the canon that means the bulls have been released.
After the bulls passed by about 7 feet from us we took off running behind them into the stadium.  Karen was scared to death that there was still one behind us that was going to get her "where the sun don't shine".  I had counted them and knew they were all in front of us.  If you listen close you can hear her scream "Go, there's more" at the end.

Here is a link to the whole running of the day we ran.
